Hello! Welcome to Extra Lime, my name is Geneviève and I live in Québec, Canada.
I’m really excited to finally open my first store! It’s been a dream of mine for a few years now. There is not many types of work I can do with my chronic illness, but an online shop seems like a great idea considering that I love to knit little things.
My first language is French, but I decided to use English to broaden my audience considering I will be shipping to Canada and the United States. I would like to make my shop bilingual in the future, that’s why I tried hard to find a cute bilingual name: Extra Lime!

Material
All new material I buy will always be 100% biodegradable.
I try to avoid buying new synthetic fibres and prefer to buy 100% natural fibres that will completely biodegrade at the end of its life. That’s why all my creations are stuffed with wool. All listed synthetic yarn is second-hand yarn that comes from my mother and has been purchased between the 70s and the 90s. All listed unknown second-hand yarn also comes from my mother but the label has been lost.
All items are made in a house free from cigarette smoke, pets and perfume. All second-hand yarn has always been stored in a house free from cigarette smoke and pets.
Shipping
All the products listed in the inventory are already made and will be shipped to you as soon as possible. Please keep in mind that I’m sometimes very ill and it may take a few days before your package gets shipped.
As for the shipping time, it will depends on where you live and will be between 2 and 10 business days. Here are the rates:
